Ian Woosnam and Forgan of St. Andrews finish second at the Casa Serena Open

Ian Woosnam finishes the Casa Serena Open in second place with Forgan of St. Andrews – leaving him clinging on to the top-spot of the Order of Merit after Bernard Langer decreased the gap between both players - winning the Casa Serena Open on 12-under par 201.

Ashworth earns 2009 sponsorship deal with LPGA

The LPGA has announced the appointment of Ashworth as the official manufacturer of its Solheim Cup team in 2009.

The manufacturer of golf clothes will provide outfits for the Solheim Cup team at its biennial match-pay event to be staged at Rich Harvest Farms from August, 21 to 23rd 2009. The appointment is the first time that Ashworth has been officially appointed to design, manufacture and supply the teams’ official uniforms. As the official golf apparel supplier, the manufacturer will produce outfits for the team captain, assistant captains and the entire 12 member squad.
